Christ Missionary Baptist Church is the body of Christ: exalting God’s greatness, evangelizing God’s world, edifying, equipping and empowering God’s people to express God’s love.

Core Values
Biblical/Spiritual Authority: We affirm, acknowledge, respect and uphold the Scriptures as our guiding principles for faith and practice. Additionally, we acknowledge, honor, and willingly yield to spiritual guidance. Throughout history, in God’s wisdom, God has appointed spiritual leaders — such as Moses, Joshua, Deborah, David, the Apostles, etc. — and vested them with the authority to lead. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we are citizens of a new realm, the Kingdom of God, governed by God’s laws and appointed leaders. Believers are called to submit to the authority of God’s leaders who oversee the communities of God’s people.
Commitment to Excellence: We uphold excellence as a fundamental value in all aspects of our ministry and service. We strive to pursue excellence in our worship, teaching, outreach, and administration, recognizing that our efforts reflect our commitment to honoring God and serving others with the highest standards of quality and professionalism. We believe that excellence glorifies God and inspires others, and we are dedicated to continuously improving and innovating as we seek to fulfill our mission and vision with excellence in all that we do.
Congregational Care: We hold the belief that life-giving and impactful ministry is nurtured within God-centered relationships rather than corporate frameworks. While structures provide order and delineate roles, it is through relationships that our lives are truly empowered. God’s care for us is mirrored in our responsibility to care for others. When supernaturally inspired relationships are upheld with honor, they have the potential to empower us to fulfill our divine calling. Congregational care embodies the commitment to both receiving and extending care through genuine, life-affirming, and life-giving relationships.
Evangelism: We are committed to winning the lost at any cost. We believe that according to the scriptures, it is not God’s will that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Global Impact: We believe in the interconnectedness of all humanity and the importance of global impact. We support efforts to address global injustices and extend Christ’s love and compassion to people of every nation and culture.
Prayerful Action: We recognize the importance of prayer as both a spiritual discipline and a catalyst for action. We seek God’s guidance and strength as we engage in the work of justice, trusting in God’s power to bring about transformation.
Prophetic Witness: We believe in the prophetic role of the church to speak truth to power, challenge injustice, and advocate for righteousness in society. We are called to be a voice for the voiceless and to stand in solidarity with the oppressed.
